Park Hotel, Santa Marta (Magdalena)

This hotel has a wonderful location right by the ocean, making for fantastic views and easy access to nearby restaurants and shops. The service is genuinely impressive, with staff going out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. However, the rooms left much to be desired, with maintenance issues and renovations that created quite a disturbance. Overall, it's a decent choice if you're looking for a place to stay in Santa Marta but be prepared for some inconveniences.

The Park Hotel has an unbeatable location, just a short walk from the beach and close to great restaurants and bars. While the rooms are spacious and come with air conditioning, they do feel quite dated and could use some upgrades.
